Not actually "cheese gel" It's Just real cheese in a pouch

One year ago, I was in tears almost every day, trying to push through the challenges of launching a business while navigating everything life throws at you.

Then things shifted. Life became dramatically easier when I landed a

co-packer and was selected for the VMS program, where I gained five incredible mentors who have supported me through every high and low.

Over the past year, I worked closely with that co-packer—and while it came with its fair share of challenges, it also taught me so much. I learned how to be a project manager, how to navigate production, and all the moving pieces that come with building a CPG brand.

Fast forward to 2026. We completed our final production run in April with that co-packer. Due to a lack of availability, we made the difficult decision not to renew the contract. At first it felt like a huge hit for our company—especially since we had just received a large retail order we couldn’t fulfill.

That moment was tough. But even in the disappointment, I knew one thing: I had to keep moving forward. This wasn’t the end—it was just another hurdle.

Because the truth is, in a CPG business, something is always moving. Marketing doesn’t stop. Growth doesn’t stop. So I kept showing up—posting on social media, getting out into the community, and sampling at run clubs.

After partnering with Fleet Feet, I spent time visiting run clubs in Alabama, including an incredible night at Fairhope Brewing Company with the Monday Fairhope Beer Runners. https://www.fleetfeet.com/s/mobile-pensacola/mobile-area-runwalk-groups There were a lot of firsts on that trip—but the biggest takeaway was simple: it was FUN.

I was blown away by the energy of that community—especially Katie, the ambassador, who led everything with such positivity and heart. She started the night by celebrating runners who had raced and PR’d the weekend before, and the entire group applauded them. It was such a powerful, uplifting moment. I pitched Shredder Cheddar to the group and I think I had them at “Cheese!” I sold out of a box of Shredder Cheddar within ten minutes. I absolutely love when people appreciate my brand. I love connecting with anybody who can see the benefits of Shredder Cheddar as an athlete or a busy person on the go.

Not only was I continuing to push through on the marketing side, I also was searching for a new co-packer. I have always been resourceful and I am using that to my benefit to find what I am looking for in a co-packer. This time around the difference is that I have some experience—I know what I’m looking for, and I know what questions to ask. Already, I’ve connected with a few promising potential partners, and I’m optimistic this setback will be resolved sooner rather than later.

But let me ask you this—how many of you have been in the middle of a race, or just in life, where things got hard and there was no clear path forward?

And yet… somehow, you figure it out. You adjust. You push through. You rise again.

That’s exactly what Shredder Cheddar represents to me.

We will keep moving forward—even if that means treading water for a bit while we figure things out.

The goal is simple: stay afloat, stay strong, and don’t quit.

In the meantime, Shredder Cheddar OGEEZ is still available at Fleet Feet stores in Mobile, Pensacola, and D’Iberville. You can also find us out at run clubs—Mondays at Fairhope Brewing Company, plus additional events with Fleet Feet in Mobile and Pensacola—where we’ll be sampling and connecting with the community.

If you want to support us, you can contribute to our GoFundMe to help with manufacturing costs, or grab some merch from our website.

We’re building this together.

We’ve got this.Yes, we can.Let’s go, Shredder Cheddar.
