How do you define success?

For me, success is progress. It’s about setting goals, chasing them down, and celebrating each step forward. As an entrepreneur, that forward motion—big or small—is the most rewarding part of the journey. At Hull-some Foods, it’s all about the win. We believe in working hard, having fun, and finding balance between adventure and focus.
I’m determined to put Shredder Cheddar on your next adventure. Shredder Cheddar goes big everyday and will push onward even through the most challenging times. I’m staying true to the brand, to myself, and to my goal of scaling up to be in stores by 2026.
Earlier this month, I faced the decision of whether to scale up or hold steady. As tempting as it was to leap forward after our first successful manufactured batch, I knew patience was the right move. Each test run with my co-packer teaches us something new—about efficiency, consistency, and building trust in the process. That trust is growth. So, we ran another small batch this month—and it was right on point.
I brought that batch to the Sneaky Tiki vendor market, where I barely had my tent up before my first customer bought 20 pouches of Shredder Cheddar OGEEZ. She was a runner training for the Chicago Marathon and wanted it for fuel. Other customers quickly caught on—buying for hunting trips, sailing, and everyday snacking. In just under two hours, Shredder Cheddar was sold out. Customers love that it’s real food: protein-packed, no added sugar, with electrolytes for performance and recovery. Whether athletic or not, people see the value in a clean, savory snack that’s built for adventure.

The challenge now is keeping up with demand. I’ve scheduled my next batch for early October, and I’m confident in our decision to scale. As batch sizes grow, so do margins—and so does the opportunity to get Shredder Cheddar into more hands nationwide.
That’s why support matters. If you’d like to help, please consider donating to my GoFundMe:https://gofund.me/e1912fc8. Every dollar helps cover manufacturing and scaling costs. A quick note—GoFundMe recently refunded donations made between May and August due to an admin error. Thankfully, they made it right by crediting my account, but if your donation was refunded, I’d be grateful if you’d consider donating again. Your help is very appreciated as Hull-some Foods continues to grow.

Another highlight this month is being selected for the Studer Community Institute Venture Mentor Services program. My mentors are already opening doors, sharing their expertise, and helping me see the full potential of Hull-some Foods. I’m deeply grateful for their guidance and excited to grow with their support.
Shredder Cheddar is here to Power Your Potential—on trails, on trips, and in everyday life.
Keepin’ it cheesy with Shredder Cheddar!
