Shredder Cheddar has officially launched online.  We are elated to see sales going up and up! In early October we had another successful batch of OGEEZ with my manufacturer.  Even though it was a success, we still had a loss in production and needed to address that before moving forward.   We planned to go up in batch size in November, but held off until they were able to purchase and install new manufacturing equipment.  I am very happy that I found a co-packer who is willing to grow with my company.  We are in this to reach success together.  In November my co-packer installed and tested the new manufacturing equipment.  They let me know that they were ready to go into production.  So we scheduled it for the first of December!

In less than two months from October 3rd, I sold out of Shredder Cheddar by selling direct to consumers. I went weekly to run clubs and events to sample and educate my consumers on why they should choose Shredder Cheddar.  I have been selling at Fleet Feet Run Clubs on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Wednesdays at Krewe de Esprit Rum Runners at 200 South in Pensacola.   I also started selling online which was a huge step for Hull-some Foods.  With online sales came feedback for my website.  This was the first time I had real traction here– consumers were now giving me suggestions on how to update it for a more user-friendly website.  There were small issues that needed to be addressed such as: shipping to all states, shipping costs, free local delivery, stating more frequently that it has 6 grams of protein, a place to leave feedback, and fixing the “Buy OGEEZ” button on the mobile site.   There have actually been quite a few noticeable changes that I needed to do to make my website.  I also switched from shipping with a UPS or FedEx account to using my local USPS business account; which I prefer to support.  I began letting locals know that as a sustainability effort they could order online and choose “local delivery” option and I would hand deliver by bike or hybrid.  I sent out an email and a personal text message to almost everyone I know across the US and received a lot of Shredder Cheddar orders.  I spent the past month dropping packages of 10-15 OGEEZ pouches to the USPS so that they could get into the hands of the athletes.  I was shipping 5-7 boxes a week.  I am receiving personal messages in return that say how much they love Shredder Cheddar and how they can't wait to purchase more.

My mentors suggested that SHREDDER CHEDDAR should be copyrighted on my merch. I worked with SBLC at Lewis and Clark Law School to register this right away and protect Shredder Cheddar on everything besides the cheese snacks.

This month the SEC women’s soccer tournament was in Pensacola.  I received a call from LSU’s women's soccer team to do massages for their team. It was awesome getting to know their team and to see how they worked together and never gave up.  They kept winning and competed in the championship against the highly ranked Vanderbilt.  They lost after a hard fight- a tie, two overtimes, and a shootout. I was absolutely impressed by their courage and strength to keep going.  That really resonated with me and felt that they symbolized what Shredder Cheddar also stands for.  I was able to share Shredder Cheddar with their soccer team and received positive feedback.  I plan to share Shredder Cheddar with more sports teams.

I spent Thanksgiving holiday in Palm Desert, California with my family reaching new customers.  I raced a 5k for Martha’s Kitchen with my family and placed first in my age group with 21:10 and 8th in women, not my fastest but still something to be proud of(the oldest female runner in the top 10).  My little niece aka lil’ Shredder Cheddar also placed first in her age group(9 years old) at 24:55.  I ate a few squeezes of my Shredder Cheddar pouch around 1.5 miles and finished strong.  I felt the burn, finished the pouch and recovered quickly from the race.  Big smiles on Thanksgiving.

I returned ftom California, and on the first night back in Pensacola I woke up to a drunk driver who hit my Shredder Cheddar hybrid. Luckily, no one was hurt. Sadly, it was totaled and it is time for a new vehicle. I can see that this will be a good time to buy another sustainable option for Shredder Cheddar deliveries. Any ideas are welcomed!!!!

Up next for December: Next Shredder Cheddar batch with my manufacturer with less loss, contract influencers and be on store shelves by January 2026. I will be selling Shredder Cheddar at the Oregon State University’s Food Innovation Holiday Bazaar in Portland on December 11th from 4-7p.  Pre-order if you are in Portland and would like free delivery between 12.12-12.15. Also, I will be volunteering and selling Shredder Cheddar at Fleet Feet’s Banana Run on December 20th. January 3rd, 2026 Shredder Cheddar will be selling at Run Roast and Refresh wellness event at Portside Pickleball in Pensacola.
